User talking on phone cannot see number of interrupting call. - No reverse key, e.g., in using address book: have to go back to main menu to find 2nd number for contact. - Some basic features do not seem easy to figure out.

I've never lost a call with this phone. The voice-activated dialing is great.Take the time to sit down with the CD that comes with the phone and do the tutorials.Drawbacks: no lighted keypad and the display is nearly impossible to read in bright sunlight (i.e. the beach). Overall, a fine choice for the person who needs a phone for the sake of convenience, but not the right choice for work or those who are obsessed with being in touch.

The Samsung SCH-A650 is my first cell phone and it is fairly easy to use. I live in an area with good coverage, and rarely (probably less than 1 in 100) have dropped calls. The battery life is only 1.5 hours.

No bells or whistles but all I want is a phone that rings. Sound is good, battery life very good. Compact size fits anywhere. If you just have to have all the latest tech wizardry, this phone's not for you. If you want to place and receive calls, give this one a try.

I bought this phone from Verizon over a year ago and so far I have enjoyed using it very much. I already drop it several times and it only scratched. Other phone would have broken. Pros. Light weight, easy to use, great resolution, variety of ring tones, voice dialing, get it now service, hard plastic, internet access, well, you'll love this phone.Cons. A little to small for big hands, battery heats up when downloading games, and that's it. I'm planning to buy the new model soon.

I have 4 of the Samsung SCH-A650 phones. I have had them for 2 years and have never had any problems with them. I still have excellent battery life and have never had any trouble with being able to receive and send phone calls.
